| We meet twice monthly during term time to study and discuss authors and their works over a wide field. During the year we have read books that were short-listed for the Booker Prize and other contemporary novels that have won awards. We plan to have a complete change next term, and have a reading list from the classics. We are a friendly group and welcome newcomers. | ||

| A year of celebrations around the world for this Golden Jubilee year. We will have travelled the continents of the world and celebrated artists/art, fathers, comedy, murder, the seasons' domesticity, battles, music and many more events. Some of these have required research, but all have proved how versatile poetry is and how much pleasure we have had in sharing our finds. Now it is almost time to plan our next collection of delights. | ||
